It had occurred to me that a couple songs i like could go well together, so I tried my hand at coming up with a medley, and ended up with a lot more than I expected. I had a vague general sense of a couple songs i wanted to pair (like down/battlefield and check yes juliet/the great escape), but the majority was on the fly of songs I’ve listened to before or heard around, and I think it worked out pretty well if I may say so myself.
PS–I don’t really hate the the Jonas Brother or anything, I just wasn’t expecting that to come out in the context of the styles I was playing.
1. Check Yes Juliet–We The Kings
2. The Great Escape–Boys Like Girls
3. Dark Blue–Jack’s Mannequin
4. The Only Song–Sherwood
5. At Your Funeral–Saves The Day
6. Grand Theft Autumn–Fall Out Boy
7. Down–Jay Sean
8. Battlefield–Jordin Sparks
9. I have no idea if this is a song or if I just made it up there
10. Whatsername–Green Day
11. Running Free-Coheed and Cambria
12. Another Green Day song (I’m not sure which it is, but I’ve heard it around)
13. Same as above
14. Whatsername (again)
15. Swing, Swing–All American Rejects
16. Guilty Pleasure–Cobra Starship
17. Who I Am Hates Who I’ve Been–Relient K
18. Dear Maria, Count Me In–All Time Low
19. Misery Business–Paramore
20. Monster–Meg and Dia
21. We wont talk about this one, haha.
