Alternative Rock Videos – Free Parking! – Dead Bands of the 90s [Rock / Alternative rock]

Artist: Free Parking!
Release: July 2012
Album name: Songs for Disabled girls [EP] Song name: Dead Bands of the 90s

This is Lilly related one.
I mostly like the refrain in this, really catchy. I noticed that Free Parking’s style of composing and playing fits really well with the katawa shoujo’s topics, while not being too banal

Lyrics:
Love of mine, you make it hard to tell the truth
And in your eyes I see the dead bands of the 90s
Playing hits from our youth
I know it’s true:
I love you

I’ll find my way out of this bottle through the bottom
And I’ll find my way around you
Oh, you were prom queen, you were something
Now I’m lost inside this humming and
I’ll find my way around you.

Love of mine, vintage of 2002
Is it true that you’re in Scotland, now?
How different is the food?

And if you see the Goo Goo Dolls on center stage
You know they’re playing for you
Every tune

And I know every single word to Eve 6’s “Here’s to the Night”
And I would sing it when I thought of you
I know it’s true…

Alternative Rock Videos – Billboard Top 40 Alternative Songs (December 16 2017)

This week, we have a new number one as Beck collects his third number one with “Up All Night”. Each of his number ones (“Loser”, “E-Pro”, “Up All Night”) are collected at least 10 years after the previous song reached the top spot – “Loser” reached #1 in 1994, “E-Pro” reached the top in 2005, and “Up All Night” is now #1 in 2017. At 12 years, 8 months and 2 weeks, the gap between “E-Pro” and “Up All Night”‘s reigns is also the longest gap between #1s. We have three songs debuting on the chart this week – a third song by Imagine Dragons on the chart now, a former mainstream rock #1 by Greta Van Fleet, and the comeback single from Dashboard Confessional.

Color code:
Green – song gains in position or for a song not on the weekly chart
Orange – song drops in position or leaves the chart
Light blue – debut or re-entry
Grey – song remains at its position
